No, but the people who will actually sleep in the house should be represented. A consultation with only the person who already holds the calendar tends to recreate the same imbalance. If someone cannot attend, send their sleep needs and non-negotiables in writing so they are not decided for.
Yes. Children change the map of the day: nap windows, kitchen access, and whether a closed door is available. We will ask about ages and about which adults are willing to take a slower afternoon. We do not offer childcare, and we will not pretend a house is suitable if the host has not confirmed it.
No. A first shared stay is one of the reasons people write. In that case we usually argue for a shorter length and a house with a door that closes for whoever needs it. Prior experience helps, but it is not a requirement for a consultation.
The packet is meant to be revised, not performed. If a path is closed or a host changes quiet hours, you keep the agreements about sleep, meals, and time apart, and you rewrite the hours around the new fact. Confirm conditions with the operator for the stay you are actually taking. We can look at a changed note if you send it, but we do not manage the week from a distance.
We answer most notes within two working days. The studio on Grand Boulevard is for people who prefer to sit in a room; it is not required. Phone and written consultations are the usual format. If we are already with a group, the reply may take longer, and we will say so rather than leave the message unanswered.
